When we set out on our cider-making journey, we wanted to be all in. To us, that meant taking the farm-to-table philosophy and adapting it to our cider-making operation.
Sure, it’s possible to run a cidery without growing your own apples, but where’s the fun in that? There’s just something extra special about taking fruit from a tree you’ve planted with your own hands and turning it into a crisp, delicious cider.
We call it our orchard-to-bottle philosophy and each year we proudly source more and more of our cider apples from our budding orchard.
Visitors, young and old, are invited to explore our Riverdale orchard, which matures and expands every year. It’s a gorgeous piece of paradise all year round, but especially in late spring when the trees are blossoming and late summer/early fall when they are fruiting.
We now have over 3,000 apple trees and grow 15 different varieties including Regal Gala, Cortland, Golden Delicious, Nova Mac, Red Jonagold, Liberty, Northern Spy, Enterprise, Honeycrisp, Vista Bella, Malus Dolgo( Crab Apple), Kingston Black, Dabinette, Sweet Coppin, and Yarlington Mill.
